ANZAC Day

Over the last coupe of weeks we have been looking at ANZAC day and what this means to us as kiwis. Room 17 thought it worked in well with what Parkvale PRIDE is.

We have learnt a lot about the brave men and woman who went to Gallipoli, Turkey all those years ago.

Please take the time to watch Room 17's assembly item about ANZAC day. Below that is a photo story that Room 17 made using Mr Dickson's photos from his trip to Gallipoli, Turkey.

Then please check out the cool work that Rosie from Room 17 did on her presentation about ANZAC.

Looking at all of this, you can see that Room 17 have taken a lot of PRIDE in all the work they have completed on ANZAC. This show real ANZAC spirit.

  8. I am so glad you shared this on your blog, Room 17, because I missed assembly too. You really told the story of ANZAC well. It is an important story for our country. I like how your story is interrupted by key information. Your voices are clear and it is easy to hear the information you are sharing. I love the gun! That harmonica version of the Last Post sounded great too. Ka pai tō mahi, Mr Wright.

I also enjoyed your PhotoStory, Mr Dickson. Such great photos - I wonder if Trina took them ;)

You should be very proud of your item, Room 17. You have the ANZAC spirit!
